Terms of Service
Last updated: May 30, 2026
Welcome to Lyrcs, a lyrics editor for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. By downloading or using the app, you agree to the following terms.
1. The Service
Lyrcs is an editor for writing lyrics, with syllable counting, rhyme highlighting, a built-in rhyme dictionary, and related writing tools. The app is provided as-is and may change or be discontinued at any time.
2. Your Content
The lyrics and notes you write are yours. They are saved as plain text files in your own storage, and we make no claim of ownership over anything you create. You are responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups.
3. Acceptable Use
Use Lyrcs only for lawful purposes. Do not reverse engineer the app, interfere with its operation, or attempt to circumvent any paywalls or purchase requirements.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Some features may require a purchase or an auto-renewing subscription made through Apple’s App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.
5. Rhyme and Syllable Tools
Syllable counts, rhyme suggestions, and dictionary results are generated automatically and are meant as writing aids. They may not always be complete or correct and should not be relied upon as authoritative.
6. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Lyrcs depends on third-party services, such as Apple’s App Store and iCloud, and is not responsible for their availability or behavior. You are responsible for keeping copies of your work. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lyrcs is not liable for any damages, including any loss of content, arising from your use of the app.
7. Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always include an updated revision date.
